The PAYDEX Score is D&B’s unique numerical indicator of how a firm paid its bills over the past year, based on trade experiences reported to D&B by various vendors. The D&B PAYDEX Score ranges from 1 to 100, with the higher scores indicating better payment performance.

When making payments on revolving accounts it really doesn’t matter if you pay the minimum payment or the full balance, they simply give a score based on the timing for the payment.

In our business's case, we did everything...got the dun's number started with a credit account with no PG; one year later we are securing credit with no PG, but when I tried to go to eupdate on D & B website it shows only 1 line for one payment and nothing else....I don't think we are generating a paydex score. D & B says we need to pay $400 to set up our d&B with our lines of credit so we can start receiving a Paydex score...Has anyone had any experience with this?

ok First of all, you do not need to pay the $400. What I can say is that many of your vendors are not reporting to DnB. - mike

Hi, How can we check the DnB rating fo rour business to see where we stand? What is the cost? Do you pay each time like FICO? Do inquiries from yourself (or others) hurt your score with DnB?
