Today started off like any other day. Wake up, apply, get approved and move on, until i was denied for an Office Depot business credit application. Now it wasn’t an instant denial, it was actually an instant approval. Next time I am doing this I will record it and post it like the last one. So i was approved with another shelf corp that I am playing with. This one is 10 years old, 7 trades, 10K high. You will think is Office Depot, it’s a sure thing. When I called in to find out how much the limit on the card was, they said they needed me to fax in my business license. This is a little lesson. This hardly happens when building business credit, but you cannot be too certain. I have gotten approved for more than 100 accounts with office depot business credit for myself and clients and this is the very first time that they asked for this. I also sent in an app for keybank for the same corp so let’s see what they say.
This should be a lesson to all of us, the companies are getting tighter. I was even chatting with a reader online tonight and he said that exxon required a pg. When i looked at his file, he had 5 trades, $100 high and Inc’d in 08. A year ago that will be enough to get $2000 from exxon but you can see that business credit is getting harder to get, but shelf corp secrets will be here soon and it will deliver you from all this hardship.
