I have been building business credit pretty constantly for the passed couple of years and sometimes I feel that I cannot learn much more, but what I learnt today is that you have to keep up with everything that is changing. Now, with company 2, we got a paydex score pretty quickly so I figured we could easily go to get a staples account. I skipped one stupid step that I even have written in my ebook but this is not why we were denied. lo. The step I skipped was checking 411. Although you are listed in 411 you have to double check that it is correctly their before you apply.The main reason why we were deniedby staples with an 80 paydex score(you understand how absurd this seems) is because they did not pull our DnB file.. LOL. STAPLES IS NOW PULLING EXPERIAN BUSINESS. So stupid me applied to staples without checking the Experian file. We only know that they pulled exprian because we asked. This is a must but I also mentioned this in my book. When denied, you should try your best to find out why. Has anyone have the same experience recently?

I got denied too with 80 paydex and 3 yr old corp. I didn’t check my experian file.

They pull both reports…check your high credits as well. You can have 20 items reporting on your report for $100 that are all paid on time. That will give you an 80 PAYDEX. Whats the total? 20000. You need your high credits on the report. Only D&B has programs to allow you to add additional vendors to your file. Obviously check both but D&B is the only one that you have influence over.
Does anyone else no of another way to get listed by 411, besides going to http://www.listyourself.net?
Were listed on 411.com, but when I called 411 on my phone were not on it? Makes no sense!
We have an actual landline number, that remotely redirects to different numbers based on the extensions people push.

if you have a land line in the business name it should automatically put u in 411
list yourself is an iffy service
